LTA Tennis Foundation is a registered charity which is governed by a Board of Trustees responsible for defining its strategy. Its composition and powers are determined by the Articles of Association.

Tim Lawler MBE (Chair) - CEO, Sports Aid
Tim is the former Managing Director of Saracens Rugby Club, founded its award-winning community programme, served as trustee for major charities, and advises on talent inclusion and sports governance.
Cynthia Muller – Partner, Haven Green
Cynthia, with over 30 years in financial markets and senior roles at JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Cheyne Capital, advises global institutions and serves on investment committees and boards across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
Simon Steele – Finance Director, LTA
Simon, LTA Finance Director since 2016, brings 20 year’s experience in the sports business industry through previous roles at Sky and Team Sky, having originally qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG.
Alex Pitt – Co-Founder, Mustard Seed
Alex, co-founder of impact investment firm Mustard Seed, serves on multiple boards and advisory roles following senior positions at Mubadala, BCG, and Goldman Sachs.
Born Barikor – CEO & Founder, Our Parks Ltd
Born, founder of Our Parks, has held non-executive roles with the LTA, Active Surrey, the British Olympic Foundation, and BUCS, promoting inclusion and wellbeing through sport.
Sandi Procter – Immediate Past LTA President
Sandi, former LTA President and long-time Kent representative, serves on multiple national and international tennis committees, championing youth development and inclusion.
Chris Mills – Research Associate, IVAR
Chris, Head of Philanthropy at The Charity Service, also serves as Research Associate at IVAR and Director at Bayfirth Research, following senior charity roles and a Deloitte background, and holds a PhD in organisational sociology.
Olly Scadgell - Managing Director – Tennis Development, LTA
Olly joined the Executive Team in 2014 as Director of Major Events and Competitions, became Participation Director in 2018, before moving to his current role in 2024, expanding responsibilities across programmes, coaching, padel, EDI and integrity.
As its official charity, we work closely with the LTA, the national governing body for tennis in Great Britain.
While we are independent in our governance and charitable decision-making, we collaborate with LTA teams to deliver programmes that align with our shared vision of tennis opened up.
