HerStory @ Tennis returns to the HSBC Championships, raising vital funds for LTA Tennis Foundation

For a second consecutive year, Keith Prowse Hospitality's HerStory @ Tennis experience returned to the HSBC Championships at The Queen's Club, bringing together leaders from sport, business and social impact for two days of inspiring discussion and meaningful connection, while raising vital funds for LTA Tennis Foundation.
Held during the WTA week of the tournament, the premium hospitality experience combined world-class tennis with thought-provoking conversations focused on representation, equality, wellbeing and the future of women's sport. Alongside inspiring discussion and the opportunity to enjoy top-level tennis at The Queen's Club, every guest helped make a difference, with all profits from the event donated to the LTA Tennis Foundation to support its mission of improving lives through tennis.
Hosted by Olympic skier and broadcaster Chemmy Alcott, both days began with discussions highlighting the impact of the LTA Tennis Foundation's work. Hannah Simpson, the Fundraising Lead, welcomed guests and shared how support from initiatives such as HerStory @ Tennis helps fund projects that use tennis to break down barriers, create opportunities and improve lives.
To demonstrate that impact, guests heard about Karmabank, a grant funded organisation that supports women and girls to gain coaching qualifications, particularly refugees and people from underrepresented communities. One coach from the programme was invited to the HSBC Championships, where she experienced tennis at the highest level, taking part in a session on the grass courts and meeting WTA player Maria Sakkari.
Across the two days, guests heard from leading figures including Paralympian Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, Laura Robson – HSBC Championships Tournament Director, Ugo Monye – former England international rugby player, Paralympian Lucy Shuker, and Sandi Procter – immediate past LTA President and LTA Tennis Foundation Trustee, alongside experts from business and the social impact sector.
Together, they explored themes ranging from representation, leadership and equality to mental health, resilience and high-performance sport. Conversations also examined the role sport can play in creating wider social impact, the continuing growth of women's sport, athlete transition beyond competition and the 50th anniversary of wheelchair tennis.
I loved being able to share some of my experiences in my journey to LTA President, including how important it was to be encouraged by others. I had good advice from Billie Jean King ‘to keep learning, be a problem solver and remember that relationships are key’.
Through personal stories, professional insight and honest discussion, speakers challenged and inspired attendees, reinforcing the power of sport to drive positive change both on and off the court.
Sandi Procter said: ‘I was very honoured to be invited by Keith Prowse to this amazing event. I loved being able to share some of my experiences in my journey to LTA President, including how important it was to be encouraged by others to stand for higher office, and how much I learned from others. I had good advice from Billie Jean King ‘to keep learning, be a problem solver and remember that relationships are key’. Now I want to inspire the next generation of women leaders in tennis. Many of my wonderful opportunities have come from being a volunteer, and I encouraged those present to get involved helping in some way at their tennis clubs or parks. It’s massively rewarding to make a difference just as our LTA Tennis Foundation grant-funded organisations do’.
Following its successful debut in 2025, HerStory @ Tennis continued to grow in 2026, welcoming more guests and further strengthening its reputation as a unique platform where sport, business and social impact intersect.
What remains unchanged is the shared commitment between Keith Prowse and the LTA Tennis Foundation to use major sporting events as a catalyst for positive change. Through HerStory, guests are given access to inspirational stories and industry-leading speakers, while directly contributing to charitable impact.
Originally launched by Keith Prowse as a female-led hospitality concept for women's sporting events, HerStory has quickly established itself as an innovative experience that celebrates the achievements of women in sport and business while supporting important philanthropic causes.
Funds raised through HerStory @ Tennis will support the LTA Tennis Foundation's mission of improving lives through tennis. The continued support of partners such as Keith Prowse plays an important role in enabling the charity to invest in programmes that break down barriers, create opportunities, and help more people experience the benefits of tennis.
