The funding we provide through the Grant Making Framework is solely for the grassroots of the game.
Any project we support must align with our vision of ‘tennis opened up’ and our mission of ‘improving lives through tennis’.
Any application must robustly focus on specific groups or societal outcomes, where the project can genuinely improve lives.
There are three types of grant organisations can apply for – Innovate, Scale, and Recover.
You can take our quick eligibility check here to find out if your organisation is eligible to apply.
We can accept applications from many organisation types if they are deemed properly constituted. Being properly constituted normally means having a Constitution, Articles of Association or rules in place.
We promote our grant windows on our grants page. When there is a round open, we will provide a link to an online application form.
Check back on our grants page for updates; we’ll post the next application dates there as soon as they’re confirmed.
Please contact us at info@ltatennisfoundation.org.uk.
Applications are initially assessed by colleagues at the LTA, who will ask any follow-up questions as needed to then make recommendations to the LTA Tennis Foundation’s Board of Trustees. These Trustees make the final decision.
Funding decision timelines for each round of applications will be published on our grants page.
You will be notified by our team if your application has not been successful. An explanation will be given, and an opportunity for a feedback call will be offered.
At the moment there is no set limit on how many times an organisation may apply for a grant.
